Veterinary Surgeons Perform Transplant
This news story proves the old adage that cats do have 9 lives (but in this case with a 'little' help). The kitty in question -- Chad -- is owned by Betsy Muirden who did not hesitate to pay $10,000 for Chad to have a life saving kidney transplant. Betsy even adopted the donor, a stray cat named P.D. -- which probably stands for Pretty Darn (lucky!). All we can say Chad is you better not get caught clawing the couch or peeing in the corner after your owner coughed up that kind of money, but come to think of it Betsy probably wouldn't really mind.
