Cops Ram SuspectHere you will see a police cruiser chasing a suspect, who is running down the middle of the road. They proceed to plow into the guy at a high rate of speed, pitching him into into some grass next to the road. And though don't hear it here, the driver, Lance Cpl. Steven C. Garren,
was apparently caught on another tape saying "Yeah, I hit him. I was trying to hit him," to another trooper.

School Bus Brawl
15-year-old high school student Samantha Taylor made headlines when she got into a heated argument with the driver of a school bus over a cell phone. The debate turned into a catfight -- with punching and hair-pulling -- and it was all caught on tape by surveillance camera. Watch it go down.

Cops Beat Woman
Cops should know -- what happens at a police station doesn't stay in the police station -- it quickly makes it to the Internet. An officer at Hillsborough County Jail in Florida was caught on tape as he pulled a woman by the hair, pushed her to the floor and beat her face. Watch now.

Cops Dump Quadriplegic Man
At the same Hillsborough County Jail, a female officer dumped a disabled man from his wheelchair -- she didn't believe he was paralyzed, and wanted proof. See it now.

Cop vs. Skateboarder
A Baltimore police officer lost it when talking to a kid who was skateboarding in Inner Harbor with his friends. Don't call him "dude" unless you want to spend the night in juvenile detention. See cop's tirade.

Britney's Hit and Run
While attempting to park her car, Britney accidentally hit a station wagon. She then got out of her Mercedes, checked her bumper for scratches and ... walked away without even glancing at the other car. Too bad the swarm of paparazzi caught it all on tape, and Britney eventually paid the consequences. Watch it.

31. When you become a victim, you scream "catch him, when you should be screaming "catch every single criminal" not just the one who victimized you. As far as I'm concerned, you disrespect the laws of this land, the police has my vote to do whatever they please to the unlawful person!!!

32. The only people more ignorant than the moron running from the cop car are the contributors of this column who feel the cop did anything wrong!!! Pull your heads out people!!! The only thing the cop did wrong was that he was going too slow when he made contact!!

33. It is so funny how it is always the cops fault! If the idiots out there didn't break the law so much and do such awful things then we wouldn't have these sort of problems. I bet you wouldn't have a problem with how police react if that was your child a punk sold drugs too or your mother they raped or your father/brother they shot and killed for no reason other than to make it into a gang!!!!! You would be out there running them down with your own car. If this world wasn't as bad as it is and if more people supported the police rather than the criminals then these men and women who are out there to protect us would not have to be so aggressive in not only protecting the public but HELLO theirselves. By the way when was the last time you were called to enter a situation where you could be killed and never see your loved ones again because a bunch of loosers were dealing drugs???? Think about that the next time you see a police officer or NEED a police officers help. And to put it in to prespective even more maybe you should go on a ride along with a police officer and see just what it is like. Maybe you can get that call where a innocent young girl has been raped and killed and now the officer has to tell the parents,or a 3 year child has been sexually assulted by the mothers boyfriend or the old lady who's husband died while watching TV and now she needs to be comforted while you both watch the gentleman being removed from the house. It is not all fun and games let me tell you. You decide...who's side are you on? The criminal or the protector? BTW....I am not a Police Officer rather an ex wife of a Police Officer who worried about my husband until he safely made it home so I saw and heard it all...have you? Wake Up People you are making the world what it is. God Bless the men and women who put their lives on the line everyday for us!!!

34. looks to me like the suspect ran in front of the police car and if you want the truth of the matter if the suspect had not run from the police it wouldntve happened (gee i wonder why he was running)im so sick and tired of hearing the media bad mouth the police over things like this it was the suspects fault for commiting the crime he ran from the police and then ran in front of the moveing police car and who gets the flack not the guilty criminal but the police to all of you getting robbed by a criminal who just robbed someone else and the police not being able to catch the criminal the first time you can thank the media and your local "community leader" dont you just luv having to be so politicaly correct that a criminal who assaults or robs you then gets sympathy for it

37. When I was in the Police Academy I was told to use all issued tools in order to finalize an arrest. Using a vehicle to capture a fleeing suspect is just another way to do what the profession demands -- capture suspects. The suspect was using their mode of movement; the Trooper was using his, he was just thinking smarter. We were told that if we were exhausted, when finally capturing a suspect, then we, and the public, could be at risk from the felon. In these cases the Trooper was using his brain, neutralizing the felon's choice of escaping movement, and protecting the public - and himself. So what if he said what he did?? And, since most of the readers of these slanted stories have NEVER BEEN IN AN ADRENALINE SITUATION they have NO IDEA as to what one feels, says, or does (Hell, one time I drove my patrol car right into a bunch of punks that were attacking a fellow officer, got out swinging and no one said "squat" about it). I'll be damned if anyone would ever tell me about my language when I was in high speed chases, or when I had to "dance" with a tough guy -- it's just talk that escapes from the situation, so calling a felon a "whatever" is just talk. Had the Trooper said, "I'm going to go out and run over a (whatever) while I'm on duty today" then there may be a problem WORTH LOOKING AT, otherwise,

38. Good move on the Officer's part. Last time I heard it was against the law to flee.

40. He didn't plow over the guy and kill him, or even hurt him I would imagine. Do you know how hard it is to run with 80 pounds of gear on your body and catch a fit, in-shape, kid who is 20 years younger than you are? That's why so many suspects get away during foot pursuits, because the police are at a disadvantage from the get-go. If they could shoot a fleeing suspect (as they do in Tennessee, it's called the fleeing felon law), then they wouldn't have to chase them with their car to keep up.

41. I see alot of people who think that the guy should not have been running away from a cop chasing him. Ok tell the truth: You have seen the videos and this isn't the only one where authoriataian figures are way over their boundaries, honestly now would you have stopped running when he was trying to hit you? Would you say thank you I will now behave because you won't tazer me again? The truth is there is no trust left. I don't think you would go against your human nature and stop. It is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Look at the video's yeah well that's gone out the window quite obviously. These people know they are in front of a camera. What do they do when there is no camera? I can't even imagine. Would I or you just presume that they would be fair and kind?..........Come on. Get Real..

42. As my dear old mother used to say (God bless her soul) "Two wrongs NEVER make a right."
This officer ran down a suspect (who is still inocent untill "proven" guilty, running or not) in cold blood. He could have killed the suspect or seariously injured him - in fact there is no info given on the suspects condition.
If I ran someone down like that, as a civilian, I would be charged with assalt or something I'm sure (even if the suspect had done something wrong)so why do we allow the police to be judge and jury before a fair trial has taken place?
In my opinion this officer is a good example of what we used to call a "pig" when I was a younger man.

43. Sometimes cops are a little too aggressive. Some think they have to keep up the "Macho" image. If you want to make a sissy tough, just give him a badge. The thing that upsets me, is "To serve and protect" doesn't apply anymore. It's all about writing tickets to make money.

44. Sadly, if a cop decides to pull you over or if you
are on foot, call you over, you are a criminal suspect at that moment. Murder, rape, bank robbery, speeding,
or whatever. It all runs together and you better do
what the cops want, or you could go to jail or worse
get shot.

45. You bunch of whinney ass people. What happened to obeying the law???? If the guys didnt do wrong they would not be running, hence the NO NEED FOR THE COPS TO CHASE!!!!! How STUPID to blame the cops. If we were harder on criminals there would be less of them. Texas has the right idea. everyone except illegals think twice before doing anything in Texas, and WHY???? because they arent treated like a POLITICALLY CORRECT martin luther king spinnoff that has to be babied. They are treated like criminals. I am just glad (in one respect) that the cop didnt kill the dumbass he hit, because then he would have been a myrter instead of a criminal. instead he is a criminal with a sore leg! book him and dont let him out. DONE!!! then he will not be doing anymore criminal activities. again, DONE. and the rest of us will live better
