The mother of all scare commercials, the 'Daisy' ad actually ran only once on TV for LBJ in his 1964 contest against Barry Goldwater. However, it had a massive impact not only on the race, which eventually ended up for LBJ in a landslide, but also on the level of political discourse and even advertising in America.
