A Republican state legislator named Sally Kern from Oklahoma has come under considerable pressure after some ill-advised, hyperbolic and dare we say inaccurate statements about the threat posed by the apocalyptic scourge of ... homosexuality. Leave it to Ellen to puncture the comments with a mix of seriousness, grace and humor. Watch as she calls to try to talk to the representative, who by the way says she isn't sorry and that she has received death threats because of the comments (though this is apparently a questionable claim). Oh, and she actually has a gay son herself. Bet he feels great about himself.

378. TrueBlue--another example of not reading, not understanding and/or not getting a bit of sarcasm. I said "technically" it was not homosexuality at S&G (as a bit of sarcastic pithiness). To reiterate, the homosexual desires were just the proverbial straw that broke thw camel's back--it was years of S&G increasly turning their back on God, the continuing sin (by the way, the men of S&G might not have considered themselves homosexuals, as with many male-on-male child molesters,the story simply is that they became "bored" of straight heterosexual relationships and were becoming increasingly perverse. Maybe you think that homosexual lust is worse than heterosexual lust? I know, bad conclusion, but... To beat all, you missed my main point (just like you might be missing the Bible's point) it ain't about pointing the finger and worrying about others life--it is about personal responsibility and following God's core message---LOVE. Now do you get it????

I never discussed hate or love in my post.
I never said to hate anyone and Christians are called to love even their enemies. This does not mean you won't have any enemies or that you should agree with them. The sodomites did not know that the guests were angels but thought that they were men. That is why they desired to know them.. You also incorrectly said gays aren't forcing their sexual orientation on others.. But violent forcing(homosexual rape) is just what the sodomites of Sodom had in mind. Therefore God's angels blinded them. God's anger was indeed kindled by a host of sins commited by the population of the cities of the plain. So our loving God does place limits and sends judgement--the fire and brimstone came from the Lord out of heaven. And it devoured the men and ALL living there; even Lot's wife, who looked back, was turned into a pillar of salt. So repentance and then not looking back to an evil lifestyle while living for Him is what we should do. Our LOVING GOD graciously gives us breath and time to respond to his Love so we can approach Him on Judgement Day as Saviour and Lord and not be condemned.

You state that I "incorrectly said gays aren't forcing their sexual orientation on others."--sorry, you are wrong about what I said and you are wrong if you think that gays are forcing their orientation on others--that simply does not bear as true contemporarily or throughout history. You use the example "But violent forcing(homosexual rape) is just what the sodomites of Sodom had in mind" which, first, is a single incident several thousand years ago, and second, is not "forcing orientation" on someone--it is plain and simple violence, attempted rape, do you think there is a difference between homosexual and heterosexual rape??? Is heterosexual rape "forcing orientation" or, maybe it's not forcing anything???? Further, I never, in any of my posts or in any way would advocate any forcible attack on another. Get your story straight, errr, right, or whatever.

Also go get an indepth education in science. Many of the "aberration to life" phenomenons such as homosexuality and even canibalism exist in many species. You might as well add masturbation, celibacy (which actually is respectd and promoted by many religeous faiths), unfertilized eggs flushed out by menstral periods, all on the list to "aberration to life, and nothing more." We are not organisms like frogs where every and single time where there is a sexual activity, it is about procreation! Gametes are dispensed NOT for the purpose of being fertilized all the time, so aberrations of life is also a common part of the biological phenomenon.
Your logic is just so junvenile and lack ANY scientific merrit!

Homosexual men are really disguisting they perpetrate the worst of the sexually transmited diseases they now have a new wave of syphllis going around and it's really sad that bisexual men hide behind women and have sex with men and pass these disesases to the general population. some say they have a right to be who they are. Well does the same apply for peadophiles, rapist, murderes, and all the other misfits in society? 384. Those of us who agree with God in classifying the "gay" lifestyle as an abomination are in the great majority in this country. Yet we are attacked by a tiny, vocal minority of moral degenerates and their fellow travelors as treating them unfairly and fearing them. It has never been unfair to label evildoers of all kinds as such, and we do not fear them for their gayness. We rather dispise them for what they have chosen of their own free will to become. Furthermore, we hate their patently evil agenda for this nation and it's children, and that will never change. Yet they shout out thier choice for all to hear and demand special rights to marry and adopt.
To blatantly mislead the population in general that your choice is normal & natural damages the very fabric of society.

390. Ellen is Gay and Proud!!! I realize everyone is intitaled to there opinion but i think its wrong because man and man cannot reproduce and woman and woman cannot reproduce and that leads me to believe its totally wrong!!! ANd i do not think they should be able to adopt children.
