Now we're not saying this is totally cruel - this cat may really love open doors on airplanes, heights, plummeting to the earth and being strapped to his owner's stomach - but we're just going to observe that the whole experience must have been really strange for that cat's little, little brain to process. We imagine it went something like this: 'food, water, play, scratch, sleep, food, water, play, scratch, sleep, food, confusion, terror, YEEOOOW!). It seems like the people had a lot of love for the cat - though we're not really sure what the point was - so we trust it was ok in the end. What do you think? Comment below ...

425. It really wouldn't surprise me if the jerking limbs wasn't from the terror of jumping out of a plane, but from the wind whipping around them. I hate to think this, but it really makes you wonder if the cat survived long enough to land--they're far more fragile creatures than humans, and the poor cat had no support for its legs at all. I say we skip the reporting and ASPCA trials and just shoot the moron.

428. I can't believe that these people consider themselves cat lovers (or animal lovers at all)! Clearly, the cat is in tremendous distress before the person jumped, what with its legs flailing wildly, desperately trying to save itself from what it could only perceive as certain death. Remember, the cat has no concept of "skydiving" -- of tossing yourself out of a plane into nothingness, and plumeting at terminal velocity straight towards the earth. All the cat knows (or thinks) when it's strapped to someone's body, looking out over thousands of feet of emptiness, is that this is a very, very bad idea. After all, there's no way in the world this cat, or any other, would ever dream of jumping out of this (or any other) plane, let alone jump from anything higher than about 10-15 feet. The bottom line is that these people are animal abusers who should not only have this cat (and any other animal they may have) taken away from them, but they should also be prosecuted for animal cruelty and endangerment! Where is the SPCA when you need them? Is there any way we could forward this video to the appropriate SPCA/Humane Society for further investigation?

430. It just occurred to me as I rewatched this video that the cat has absolutely no protection whatsover -- no goggles, no helmet, nothing at all to shield its face and eyes from 150+ winds. It doesn't have a jumpsuit on, or anything else that its "owner" has on. And for those who would point out that they don't make skydiving helmets, goggles or jumpsuits for cats, think about that for a moment: maybe they don't make those things because cats aren't supposed to go skydiving. The more I think about it, the more I want to find out what happened to the cat, because if it was harmed in any way (physically, that is, it may be harmed psychologically, but there's no real way of proving that), I would compel the proper authorities to take necessary action against this animal abusers.

434. That cat should be taken away from that idiot and given to someone who would treat it with love and consideration. This man is nothing but an ignorant, uncaring show off. He disgusts me. I hope the cat was all right after that jump. It was obvious the cat was struggling when it realized what was happening...that was not the wind making it act like that before the fool who had it strapped in jumped. I also hope the fool reads these posts and realizes what people think of him, which is not much.
