After four months away due to the writer's strike, 'Saturday Night Live' was back over the weekend, and everybody's favorite live TV madmen welcomed back a familiar face as Tina Fey (now of '30 Rock') returned to the show. Highlights, which you can sort through below, were her being coached by Steve Martin during her monologue and her time back behind the Weekend Update desk. Oddly enough, the not-so-familiar face of Mike Huckabee also popped up on Weekend Update.

1. Love her clever wit. Very funny Saturday night. I want to quit my job and go work for her.

2. Tina Fey LOVES herself...she acts as if she's hilarious, and yet is sub-par, at best.

3. WELCOME BACK!!! TINA.

4. Mike loves himself...He goes around on blogs trying to tear people down. Probably to compensate for his own lack of personality and talent. Anyone who picks on Tina Fey has know idea what talent is. The only thing that was wrong with her appearance on SNL this past weekend was the Clinton endorsement. Hey Mike, pick on Paris or Spears they're the ones who really deserve to be ridiculed.

6. Tina Fey was NOT funny at all and her rabid plug for Hillary was out of line. The only times I laughed was at Steve Martin and at Mike Huckabee spoofing himself. Huckabee was the best part of the show. Big disappointment SNL - you could have done so much better. A show that bad makes me long for the good old days of John, Dan, Chevy, Gilda, Steve..

7. It wasn't the greatest episode ever, but it was the best episode in years. People who say her Clinton remarks were "out of line" really need to get a sense of humor. It's called a comedy show. You act as though SNL has never done political sketches before, when they've been doing them since the beginning of the show. Whether it's been Aykroyd's Nixon or Chase's Ford to Hartman's Clinton or Ferrell's Bush---they were doing the same thing then as they are now. You Obama supporters really need to get over yourselves (and no, I'm not a Clinton supporter--just undecided at this time). Fey has proven she's funny, winning positive reviews for everything she's done.

8. The beginning of that first show back was so terrible I had to force myself not to turn it off! Now I think I should have . . .

9. I as well cannot understand the appeal of Tina Fey. Grossly over-rated. Not funny on SNL or on 30 Rock. I was shocked by her out-of-place, not to mention unvarnished plug for Hillary and her comment that "bitch is the new black." As if I, and fellow Barack supporters, are supporting him b/c of the color of his skin? I'm a white woman, so I'm not following. And Tina also implied that one is a traitor to one's gender if one votes against Hillary. Please.
The only funny parts of the show were the "ad" for the birth control and the spoof of Celebrity Apprentice.

10. It's just my opinion, but I never found Tina Fey funny or woth watching. If this is all comedy has to offer, then start the funeral.

12. Tine Fey is awful. She was awful on SNL and worse on that new show of hers. Since when should she be able to give such a big plug for Hillary? Isn't SNL supposed to be an ENTERTAINMENT show? I wish the writers were not back to work. That way we would not get these awful shows back. Give me American Idol anytime.
