Shocking Sawyer
Well la-di-da to you! Watch as one-time Annie Hall Diane Keaton was busy buttering up -- and we mean buttering up! -- Diane Sawyer when all of a sudden she threw a wild 'F-bomb' into the foxhole that is the usually staid 'Good Morning America.' Listen as the crowd then lets out an audible 'shame-on-you' groan as their G-rated morning show was ruined.
Diane's New Motto: 'I do more cursing before 9 a.m. than most people do all day.'

317. This use of vulgarity/blasphemy on TV/movies/songs, etc. and reading some of the responses here shows how crude and base this country has become. There are no polite social manners anymore. You can do and say anything! When you use such language you have no respect for anyone including yourself. How sad.

318. I wouldn't worry about Diane Keatons remarks....every
word that comes out of the mouths of these terrific
presidential candidates is PURE GARBAGE....

319. For all the mothers that have posted about how there children watch Good Morning America in the morning. Please be advised that its still a G rated show and that won't change. You don't have to worry about Diane Sawyer to start using fowl language. This was a slip of the tongue and not an everyday occurence. Let's concern ourselves with the possible recession were headed into, the housing market, oil, and many other topics that deserve more of our energy then this.

320. Know what bothers me the most about this? I'm embarrassed that I actually took the time to read about it. Because it's another example of the media feeding the public the insignificant "news" we seem to crave. WHY DO WE CONSUME THIS TRIPE, PEOPLE? Why do we get so much satisfaction out of lining up on either side (whether it's "Way to go, girl!" or "I'm so deeply offended") of meaningless debates about the character or behavior of people we don't know? This is crazy. I'm going on a 'junk news' diet.

322. This "slip of the tongue" and the comments supporting it and stating that it is no big deal that people have posted on here says a lot about the sad state of America and America's morals, or should I say lack of morals. In my opinion she should be slapped with a huge fine and banned from live television from now on. There is just no excuse for such behavior and/or language on live television. America is in a moral crisis and the sad thing is that most don't recognize that or even care.

329. I WAS watching the segment with my children when Diane dropped the bomb. I did what any responsible parent should do....I took the opportunity to EDUCATE my child. They admitted that they have heard a whole lot worse outside my house. I wasn't shocked at all. It was a great conversation and outcome. I think nothing less of Diane.
