Shocking Sawyer
Well la-di-da to you! Watch as one-time Annie Hall Diane Keaton was busy buttering up -- and we mean buttering up! -- Diane Sawyer when all of a sudden she threw a wild 'F-bomb' into the foxhole that is the usually staid 'Good Morning America.' Listen as the crowd then lets out an audible 'shame-on-you' groan as their G-rated morning show was ruined.
Diane's New Motto: 'I do more cursing before 9 a.m. than most people do all day.'

154. Yes, Keaton could have been more professional and not used the foul language, but I don't think she should be burned at the stake for it. In the spectrum of human error, this one was very low on the scale. One thing she DID say right, though, was that Diane Sawyer is, in fact, a very beautiful woman. The public seems to have focused more on her brains than her beauty. That's a switch.

156. I was watching GMA and the Diane Keaton interview. They were able to bleep it out. Radio stations are claiming it wasn't and it was out on the air. Naturally they heard it in the live audience but not on the air. To err is human to forgive divine.

158. It's only a word. If it was meant in a mean and vicious way that would be one thing. I remember letting my daughters watch Beetlejuice over and over when they were young, they loved it...In it Michael Keeton says the ''F'' word once....I remember thinking, am I a bad mother ...I just explained the word is not acceptable in public and I didnt encourage bad language but things are said in life, anyway, who is perfect ...my daughters turned out wonderful, probably curse in private, don't make such a big deal over this as far as kids go...It is your unbringing, not one "F" word by Diane that will affect them. She just slipped.

159. I think it was fine, I love Both Diane Sawyer and Diane Keaton. That ois part of her personality. Lighten up, and don't get your panties in a wad. There are worse things to worry about. We ALL were NOT born in the early 1900's! Life goes on.. Love Ms. Keaton!!

160. It's just so low class. What bothers me are novels and movies where none of the characters can finish a sentence without using the F-word. There are such people, of course, but they are the exception. Civilization has not declined to quite such a low level just yet.

161. Keaton is a good actress and her little slip of the vernacular shows she is human like the rest of us. It probably was a more memorable show with her blooper in it!

162. The work stand For Undermining the Counsel of the King. does anyone really think that is such a bad thing. That was the original meaning of the f word. Besides your kids will hear it ALL on the bus sooner or later. It is better you teach them now not to use profanity and that the word only shows that they have a very limited vocabulary. that is what I say. it was not intentional!!! So get over it already!!!

163. Let's say I'm making a batch of brownies and I put a little piece of dog crap in it....would you still eat it? After all, it's just one little dog turd in a whole batch of brownies. Society is deteriorating one little episode at a time.

164. There are so many bad things happening in the world and to be talking about the F word is ridiculous. Leave Diane Keaton alone, geez, she is human and she is a cool dudette, let her be!

165. I have lived 8 decades and have never known a woman who used gutter language to me, nor would I want to be with anyone who had such a paucity of vocabulary. Also, it shows a lack of respect. It seems the public has worshiped at the clay feet of Hollywood far too long.
