Jean Pierre Gaston, 85, fulfilled his birthday wish by doing something he's never done before -- bungee jumping. The thrill seeker has prepared a list of things he wants to do before he turns 90, including skydiving and scuba diving. You go, grandpa!

4. oh for god's sake...grow up...wait...it's too late isn't it?...thrill seekers young and old should not be able to get insurance and should have to pay out of pocket DOUBLE if their particular thrill puts the public at risk (skydiving, self built airplane flying, etc.) and TRIPLE if they have to be rescued by the police or firemen who are put into harm's way by their antics.

6. martin j kelly, I feel so sorry for you! You must be an accountant that lives an overly safe and boring life, no sense of adventure or exploration! Rock on grandpa!!! I hope all of your dreams come true and I hope you live to be 120 :)

12. Martin, this man did not put the public at risk, nor did he require someone to rescue him. He simply fulfilled a dream with professionals guiding him and his family observing and supporting him. How many people never receive an opportunity to fulfill a dream or open the ‘window of opportunity’ when it does arrive, for lack of nerve or fear of failure? How sad that you criticize him for fulfilling one of his dreams at his late stage of life, particularly when it has no effect on you at all.

13. I know that most of you can't understand what this jump was truly about because you are too young to be able to understand. Inside that old and worn body is an ageless spirit who feels no different inside than he did when he was 22. Watch the clip again, this time try to imagine him as he looked 63 years ago. It's the same man jumping; only now does he truly understands himself and life.

14. JOIN BUNGEE 95 now. This is a group of likeminded people who if we reach the age of 95 are going Bungee jumping. One reason, because little old people die in nursing homes everyday without media comment. Two, if the jump itself doesn't kill us, the fright will. Three, we are going in Canada where an outfit will let you bungee jump for free if you go in the nude. I think you all get the picture.
