It looks like a scene from the movie 'Twister,' but it's all real -- Reed Timmer and Joel Taylor of TornadoVideos.net are two extremely brave storm chasers. They shot this incredible video of a violent twister on May 4 in Oklahoma from just 50 yards away from the storm. We can feel the dust just by watching this amazing footage.

And here's another vicious Oklahoma tornado that was caught on tape. Although it caused quite a bit of damage, fortunately, no one was hurt.

10. I'm just beside myself to see the damage that these people have survived and in due time they will pick up and start all over again and that is the difference between Americans and others we always continue with life. Katrina was also a devistation to us all and slowly but surly they rebuild. God bless to all those who have ever suffered the disaster that mother nature brings us.

12. has anyone checked the authenticity of this tornado video? This footage looks highly suspicious to me in that unlike most digital video the car interior is pefectly exposed (black dashboard, wipers, driver) and so is the exterior tornado and clouds, even the highlights in the brightest parts of the sky, all in the same shot which is beyond the exposure latitude of any video or film. No matter where the camera moves the exposure is "on" but we do not see any sign of "auto" exposure breathing. Also there is an unusual color detail captured in the dust and other things which indicate enhancements to the usually quite limited capabilities of digital video. Just compare this video to the very authentic video right below and see the quality difference. Also the pixilization which I suppose is to simulate a digital zoom in does not look like any digital zoom I've ever seen. I saw this footage on CNN and quite frankly was suprised they ran it... hopefully someone checked it but it looks like a digital mock up to me. Programs to create these effects cost less than 500$ these days.

15. I am from Oklahoma and seen our May 3rd tornado strongest winds ever recorded over 318 mph less than 5 miles from my home .I have to say that was one cool video and a very nice tornado. But i do agree with Jim keep you loud mouth shut ..Yes we can hear it and want to hear it . Not your loud mouth....It is clear your a rookie storm chaser .. One good bit of info. Stay away from the tornado your camera has zoom use it.
