The squirrel in the clip below ate fermented pumpkins and is now having hard time keeping its head up. The tipsy rodent tries to climb up a tree, but keeps falling off; then it starts spinning around chasing its tail. For any PETA members thinking about launching an AAA (Animal Alcoholics Anonymous) program, please be advised that, contrary to its size, the bushy-tailed liquor lover is of the legal drinking age (for squirrels).
In other squirrel news, the city of Santa Monica will be putting its rodents on birth control this summer in order to prevent a breeding frenzy. Officials claim that the 1,000 rodents in the city park pose a public health risk. There must be a lot of fermented pumpkins in Santa Monica -- and a ton of drunk squirrels who can't keep their little squirrel pants on.

3. I THINK THE IDIOTS THAT TAPED THE POOR SQUIRREL SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF IT. THEY COULD HAVE TAPED IF FROM A DISTANCE INSTEAD OF RIGHT ON TOP OF THE POOR THING.

4. Waht a mean thing to do, laughing at a poor animal that falls over. Hope you don't go driving down celebrity row without bright jacket on at night, might get tanked by a drunk and won't be so funny.

6. I agree. There's not too much funny about this one. The poor squirrel was obviously terrified thinking whatever this was it wasn't going to tbe good for him. I'm surprised the simpletons just didn't chase it out into the street and try to make this a snuff film.

9. Not funny..Did you ever stop to think only humans would intentionally get themselves as screwed up as the animal is? animals dont put themselves in danger on purpose, humans do. animals don't get enjoyment from anothers misfortune. does this tell you something and why are you laughing then..you idiot.

10. Ah, come on people. We didn't do it-the squirrel did it to itself! We just happened to be there to witness it- and probably with a telephoto lens! I think it's funny. Too much stress in the world today. Good to take a moment out to laugh at something that was purely natural (ie: Squirrel vs. Rotten pumpkin). We did nothing cruel, we just observed.

11. what is wrong with all you people ?
that you can't find humor in nature
maybe you should look in a mirror, because when other people look at you they laugh.

12. I think this video is freaking funny!! poor squirrel, BUT we all laugh when we fall so not guilt here for laughing =)

13. That was absolutely horrible. How can anyone just record and laugh at something like that, and not feel compelled to help the poor thing? How inhumane! They should be ashamed. What comes around goes around.....That was not funny at all. What really would have been hysterical and worth the time to watch, was if the squirrel lunged at his throat....What a bunch of IDIOTS!!!

14. Why didn't those morons try to help the poor thing, instead of trying to be sure to get it on tape? How do they know it was fermented pumpkins and not something really bad that the little guy ate? Or even that those pumpkins could have been harmful? And shame on AOL for putting it on the welcome screen, basically encouraging others to be so cruel.
